For those of who work in an office environment, I'm sure you come across this but like most people never really thought about it...until it happens.
You head into the toilet & meet a co-worker so you start a random chat, all very normal, you make a move to go into the cubicle & you find that the conversation is still going on, so you have no choice you have to go so while the conversation is still flowing (amongst other things) you feel the need to keep talking.
Now this happened to me & I thought ya no problem I chat to my friends in a pub toilet if we happen to go together but when it comes to a colleague you kinda of think..first of all I can't really catch what you're saying due to the noise of my morning coffee streaming out of me and secondly, imagine if I did want some privacy in case the coffee had other effects on my bowel movements, would my colleague be as quick to chat randomly about looking for a house to buy, what viewings were lined up....or what her weekend plans were...
As I say never really thought about this kind of thing before well because the person had left the toilet, so problem solved.. but this time round I was surely in the wrong place at the wrong time..only thankful that the coffee hadn't really kicked in at the time...
